Birthday Girl - Disturbing Voice By Kemi Jinadu

It's my birthday today guys that explains the reason why my my picture is on the background of the website, I am the only one allowed on the main background for now except you pay me for that service Lol!

Well I cannot help but share this testimony, about a month to my birthday I followed my daughter to school.
Just before I arrive at her school something terrible happened I usually walked with my daughter on the right side of that road; on this fateful day I heard a voice within me, some would describe it as instinct, holy-spirit, holy-ghost, but the internal voice was loud, consistent and disturbing.

Disturbing in a way that I had to give in, yield to the voice if I wanted to experience inner peace and keep moving.
I had to act fast as the instruction within directed me, I told my girl to swiftly cross to the other side of the road which was on the left hand-side.

My daughter said “why?” but I sincerely do not have a reason so I said “just do as I say,” putting on the demeanour of an instructive mother, hoping another question would not follow.

She crossed immediately to the left-side of the road suddenly my eyes caught an upcoming black and red coloured power bike, then a silver Land-cruiser appeared along its side.
I spotted an African woman with a brown and white head-wrap-turban speaking on the phone but driving at a very fast speed she caught up with the power-bike and drove into it.

It happened so suddenly that I ran so fast like I’ve never ran before, as the power-bike bounced off the road, mounted the pavement then into the air towards my direction; I did not know where I got the strength from, never thought I could run so fast.

My eyes caught my daughter on the other side of the road crying, she cried so loud, within minutes onlookers gathered and they increased by the seconds.
“Thank you Lord” was all I kept saying out loud; oblivious to the people around, to the African lady driver who rushed back and front to me and to the power-bike driver on the floor as a Samaritan called for an ambulance and the police.

The disturbing voice, the reason I told my girl to cross dawned on me as I held her, If my daughter was with me on the right-side of the road am sure the story am sharing today would be different, all glory to God somebody would have died.

I left the scene immediately as the echoes coming from the blaring sirens became audible; I just wanted to be away from the vicinity and I do not want my daughter to see any disturbing images.

A week later a similar incident happened again (story for another day) but this time I envisioned it as an omen, a sign for me and my family to watch and pray.

Yours truly put on the armour of battle, intense prayer warfare began, and it continues as I believe God is for me.

If God be for me nobody can be against me, the greater one in me would put me above all obstacles in life.

Happy Birthday to me, myself and I………………………..
