World Celebrities PayTributes To Legendary Designer

Renowned fashion designer Oscar de la Renta died at the age of 82, following a lengthy battle with cancer, Hollywood stars and fashion heavyweights alike have taken to social media to pay tribute to the style maestro. Rest in peace.
Oscar de la Renta  was a Dominican-American fashion designer. Born in Santo Domingo, he was trained by Cristóbal Balenciaga and Antonio del Castillo; he became internationally known in the 1960s as one of the couturiers to dress Jacqueline Kennedy, Michelle Obama and many more.

An award-winning designer, he worked for Lanvin and Balmain; his eponymous fashion house continues to dress leading figures, from film stars to royalty, into the 2010s

Silver screen starlet lead the tributes on Twitter, writing: "Iconic legendary genius, gone but definitely not forgotten #OscarDeLaRenta. My heart goes out to the De La Renta family. –ZS".

Fellow designers were also quick to praise the late star.  Zac Posen wrote: "RIP legend #OscarDeLaRenta", while Cristian Siriano said: "Very sad to hear of the passing of Oscar de la Renta. He was a master, and an inspiration to me and so many other artists. He made beauty".
